How to Have a Longer and Healthy Life 1

Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am 43 years old, and I do like the idea of having a healthy life style. I am not over weight, I eat properly and in small portions, I exercise. My favorite thing to do is dance. I love to laugh, it makes feel young at heart and it's good for you. I also have 2 wonderful son's ages 5 and 11, and I love being a mom, but as was said in my previous articles I do get stress, when I am constantly being called all day long.

So, I try to balance my activities which also include getting proper amount of sleep. Some experts believe that regular exercise along with proper amount of rest may probably add years to your life span. But, I believe that depends on the kind of life style you lead. Smoking, excessive drinking, over weight, lack of some form of exercise, stress, depression can also take away the chance of living a long and healthy life span.

As I mention before, I love to laugh. And laughter is one of the best things for your mental and physical state. People are naturally attracted to someone who has a good sense of humor. You can develop a good outlook and a good sense of humor by associating with and surrounding yourself with pleasant happy people.

Another point, is to recognize that stress is a killer. A life filled with stress can wreak havoc on your body causing a number of illnesses such as heart attack, strokes, increase blood pressure, headaches etc. Consider my previous articles on "5 minutes Program to Stress Management" View Here!

My time is up....stay tune for more. I have to listen to music and do my daily exercise and one way is dancing.....Have some fun.

5 Minutes Program to Stress Management 1

Hi. Welcome to my blog. Are you stress out today? How do you deal with stress? Do you take a shower to relax? Do you have to get a glass of wine? Do you exercise by walking, dancing or maybe kickboxing? However you deal with stress, when it comes down to it, I think that how we work or even relax, for that matter triggers stress. Have you ever been stressed even when you're relax and bored? For me personally I don't get stressed about that. I get stressed when my son's constantly saying "mom" all day long, until dad gets home. I try not to get mad about it, because there is no one else for them to call, after all I am a mom. How do you manage your time?

Managing Time

Time management skills can allow you more time with your family and friends and possibly increase your performance and productivity. This will help reduce your stress. I do fine when I spend time for myself away from home, I can manage my stress level at home.

To improve your time management

1. Save time by focusing and concentrating, delegating, and scheduling time for yourself. Delegating is also one of the things I do, now.

2. Keep a record of how you spend your time, including work, family, and leisure time.

3. Prioritize your time by rating tasks my importance and urgency. Redirect your time to those activities that are important and meaningful to you.

4. Manage your commitments by not over or under committing. Don't commit to what is not important to you.

5. Deal with procrastination by using a day planner, breaking large projects into smaller ones, and setting short-term deadlines.

6. Examine your beliefs to reduce conflict between what you believe and what your life is like.

I hope this article is helpful to you. Please leave a comment with any suggestions as to how you deal with stress. My time is up....stay tuned.

Good Health to You!
