How to Have a Longer and Healthy Life 1

Hi! Welcome to my blog. I am 43 years old, and I do like the idea of having a healthy life style. I am not over weight, I eat properly and in small portions, I exercise. My favorite thing to do is dance. I love to laugh, it makes feel young at heart and it's good for you. I also have 2 wonderful son's ages 5 and 11, and I love being a mom, but as was said in my previous articles I do get stress, when I am constantly being called all day long.

So, I try to balance my activities which also include getting proper amount of sleep. Some experts believe that regular exercise along with proper amount of rest may probably add years to your life span. But, I believe that depends on the kind of life style you lead. Smoking, excessive drinking, over weight, lack of some form of exercise, stress, depression can also take away the chance of living a long and healthy life span.

As I mention before, I love to laugh. And laughter is one of the best things for your mental and physical state. People are naturally attracted to someone who has a good sense of humor. You can develop a good outlook and a good sense of humor by associating with and surrounding yourself with pleasant happy people.

Another point, is to recognize that stress is a killer. A life filled with stress can wreak havoc on your body causing a number of illnesses such as heart attack, strokes, increase blood pressure, headaches etc. Consider my previous articles on "5 minutes Program to Stress Management" View Here!

My time is up....stay tune for more. I have to listen to music and do my daily exercise and one way is dancing.....Have some fun.

5 Minutes Program to Stress Management 1

Hi. Welcome to my blog. Are you stress out today? How do you deal with stress? Do you take a shower to relax? Do you have to get a glass of wine? Do you exercise by walking, dancing or maybe kickboxing? However you deal with stress, when it comes down to it, I think that how we work or even relax, for that matter triggers stress. Have you ever been stressed even when you're relax and bored? For me personally I don't get stressed about that. I get stressed when my son's constantly saying "mom" all day long, until dad gets home. I try not to get mad about it, because there is no one else for them to call, after all I am a mom. How do you manage your time?

Managing Time

Time management skills can allow you more time with your family and friends and possibly increase your performance and productivity. This will help reduce your stress. I do fine when I spend time for myself away from home, I can manage my stress level at home.

To improve your time management

1. Save time by focusing and concentrating, delegating, and scheduling time for yourself. Delegating is also one of the things I do, now.

2. Keep a record of how you spend your time, including work, family, and leisure time.

3. Prioritize your time by rating tasks my importance and urgency. Redirect your time to those activities that are important and meaningful to you.

4. Manage your commitments by not over or under committing. Don't commit to what is not important to you.

5. Deal with procrastination by using a day planner, breaking large projects into smaller ones, and setting short-term deadlines.

6. Examine your beliefs to reduce conflict between what you believe and what your life is like.

I hope this article is helpful to you. Please leave a comment with any suggestions as to how you deal with stress. My time is up....stay tuned.

Hay Fever Allergy Season

Hi! Welcome to my blog, my article today is about Hay Fever. Most people suffer with it, including my family. My sons have a really hard time in the fall, and some medication given by the doctors work and some don't, so I try to keep there room cool and dust free.

Hay fever is such a pain, that you suffer with sneezing, nasal congestion, runny and itching nose, palate, ears and eyes. If you recognize any of these symptoms chances are, you or some member of your family has experienced hay fever at one time or another.

Most people know it as hay fever and you're likely to be plagued during the spring and fall seasons by such annoying symptoms as sneezing, congestion, runny nose, itchy nose, itchy throat and red watery eyes. Allergy has different names. Allergy reactions occurring in the nose and sinus are called "sinus" or "hay fever". Allergy reactions in the skin are names "hives". So you see, allergy has different names depending upon where on your body is occurs.

Hay fever is basically an allergic reaction to pollens from trees, weeds and grass. Unlike garden flower pollen, which is carried by insects, dry lightweight pollens are generally spread by wind currents which make them difficult to avoid. While most people suffer mild discomfort with hay fever, it is said that most people including children who suffer with allergies miss some school, work and stay in bed or feel upset by the condition.

The best therapy of all however, is avoidance of those things which produce symptoms. This include allergens, such as house dust mites, pets and other irritants such as tobacco smoke and chemical fumes.

My time is up...stay tune for more. Please leave a comment on what you do to help with your allergy symptoms. Maybe home/natural remedies.

Mens Skin Care

I like a man who take care of his skin, well groomed and clean shaved. It is more appealing to me to see men groomed and their skin looking fresh. My husband complain all the time about taking the time to do 'man skin care', and I remind him that it is also important for men to take care of their skin, just as women do. And it starts with a simple thing, cleansing.

I tell him all the time cleansing helps remove the dirt, grease and pollutants from the skin and helps in preventing pore clogging. The oily nature of male skin makes cleansing an important part of man skin care procedure. And cleansing should be done at least once a day, even better if it is done twice a day. Using soap on the face should be avoided. So, what so hard in taking a few extra minutes to clean your own skin. Lazy!

'Man skin care' revolves a lot around shaving. Shaving foam/gel/cream and after shave lotion are one of the most important man skin care products. Alcohol-based aftershaves should be avoided. Proper 'man skin care' also mandates the use of good quality razors, and it is also necessary that you use them properly. Be gentle when using your razor. Do not scratch it against your skin' use a soft and smooth action (after all it's matter of removing hair, not your skin)

Moisturisers too form an integral part of man skin care. Moisturising gel or cream should be applied after shaving and should be patted gently over the face and massaged gently using upward strokes.

Another good option for 'man skin care' is to use man skin care products which have natural ingredients like aloe vera, sea salt and coconut etc. Naturally antiseptic oils like lavender, tea tree also provide good means for man skin care.

Man skin care is not as difficult as a lot of men thing (like my husband). It just asks for a few minutes every day, in order to give you a healthy skin care for present and for future. And beside, your woman would like that. And it's sexy.

My time is up...stay tuned....

The Recipe to Cure Dry Skin!

Dry skin cannot be ignored. Dry skin leads to cracking of the upper layer of skin and gives it a real bad appearance. The main causes of dry skin care include: dry climate, hormonal changes, to much exfoliation and treatment of other skin disorders. Moreover, dryness could be the inherent nature of one's skin. Whatever be the cause 'dry skin care' is very important (but not very difficult).

'Dry skin care' starts with moisturizers, the most effective remedy for dry skin. Generally moisturizers are classified under 2 categories based on the way they provide 'dry skin care'.

The first category includes moisturizers that provide 'dry skin care' just by preserving the moisture within the skin e.g. Vaseline. These moisturizers are relatively inexpensive and are readily available (even at grocery shops).

The second category includes moisturizers that work by drawing moisture from the environment and supplying it to the skin. This a very effective way of 'dry skin care' in humid conditions. The moisturizers that provide 'dry skin care' in this way are also humectants (a substance such as skin lotion that absorbs or help retain moisture). For proper dry skin care, you must use a non-greasy type of moisturizer, as far as possible. Humectants fall in this category. The ingredients of humectants include propylene glycol, urea, glycerine, hyaluronic acid etc.

'Dry skin care' is not about just using moisturizers but also using them properly. The best 'dry skin care procedure' is to cleanse the skin before the application of moisturizer. You can make your 'dry skin care' even more effective by applying the moisturizer while the skin is still damp (after cleansing). Also, make sure that you use soap-free products (especially on your face, neck and arms).

Exfoliation does help in dry skin care, by removing the dead skin cells. However, don't exfoliate too hard. Your dry skin care procedures/products should also take care of sun protection. Avoid too much and too direct exposure to sun ( simply by using an umbrella/hat etc. Use a good sunscreen lotion before going out. A lot of moisturizers provide sun protection too, along with dry skin care.

You also have natural products for 'dry skin care' i.e. products that provide 'dry skin care' in a natural way (without the use of synthetic chemicals). These dry skin care products supply lipid enhancements to the skin, hence enabling moisture retention within the skin. Another, important thing for 'dry skin care' is the temperature of water you use for shower or for washing your face-Use warm water; too hot or too cold water can cause dryness too.

'Dry skin care' is also about being gentle with your skin. You should avoid harsh detergents and alcohol based cleansers. Also, after a face wash, do not rub your towel on your face, just pat gently to soak the water off.

On the whole, dry skin care is really simple for anyone who takes that seriously.

Tips on Weight Loss Exercise

Today, our daily obligations of work and home keep us tied to our chairs, and if we want to exercise, we have to seek it out.

Infact, health experts insist that obesity problem is probably caused at least as much by lack of physical activity as by eating too much. Hence, it is important that people need to move around.

However, that does not mean that a lap or two around the old high school track will offset a daily dose of donuts. Exercise alone is not very efficient, experts say. They contend that if you just excerise and do not change your diet, you may be able to prevent weight gain or even lose a few pounds for a while.

The more regularly you exercise, the easier it is to maintain your weight. Here is what to do every day to make sure that you get the exercise you need:

1) Get quality Zzzs.
Make sure that you get adequate sleep. If you feel worn out during the day, you are less likely to get much physical activity during the day.

2) Walk the Walk.
It is probably the easiest exercise program of all. In fact, it may be all you ever have to do, according to some professional advices of some health experts. Gradually build up to at least 30 minutes of brisk walking 5 times a week.

3) Walk the treadmill.
When the weather is bad, you might not feel like going outdoors. But if you have a treadmill in the television room, you can catch up on your favorite shows while you are doing your daily good turn for your weight-maintenance plan.

4)Seize the time.
Get as much exercise as you can that feels good without letting it interfere with your work and family life. If you need to, remind yourself that you are preventing many health problem when you prevent weight gain; and keeping your health is a gift to your family as well as yourself.
